Mastectomy Breast Reconstruction
Before & After Photos
Unilateral Mastectomy w/Fat Transfer
Before: 55 year-old woman with left mastectomy defect.
After: She regenerated her left breast with 3 BRAVA + AFT sessions. We also lifted and augmented
the right breast with the natural techniques described in this book. Notice the
overall improved body figure without new scars.

Unilateral Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 37 year-old woman with a radiated right mastectomy defect with partial resection of the
chest muscle.
After: She regenerated a natural right breast with 5 BRAVA + AFT sessions over a 1-year treatment span without
incisions, flap, or implants. The original scar has melted away and her new breast is soft, bouncy,
and has near-normal sensation.
Bilateral Non-Radiated Mastectomy
Before: This woman is an ideal candidate for
BRAVA + AFT breast regeneration. Her breasts are not radiated. She has loose mastectomy scars and ample fat. Since she also has bilateral defects, both breasts will regenerate symmetrically and we do not have to match a normal side. She is successful because she understands and is compliant with how BRAVA should be worn.
After: The patient has regenerated large,
symmetrical, D cup breasts after
3 BRAVA + AFT sessions over 6
months. These new breasts feel
natural, just like the original ones.
They are soft, bouncy, and best of
all, the reconstructed nipple has
near-normal sensation.
Bilateral Mastectomy w/Fat Transfer
Before: A 72 year-old woman who had bilateral mastectomies many years prior and was reluctant to undergo any invasive reconstruction procedure until she learned of the BRAVA + AFT alternative.
After: As one of the first patients we treated with fat grafting, she had 4 minor sessions performed under
simple local anesthesia in the office. In addition to regenerating natural new breasts and recovering
sensation in her previously numb mastectomy defects, she is also delighted with the improved waistline
liposuction side effect.
Unilateral Non-Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 55 year-old woman 3 years after her left mastectomy. She is in the medical field and was not interested in any invasive surgery, but BRAVA + AFT made sense to her.
After: She regenerated her left breast with 2 BRAVA + AFT minor outpatient sessions. She is happy with the
regenerated natural breast mound despite the fact it is still slightly small and she would benefit from
a third session. She also appreciates the liposuction benefits.
Bilateral Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 33 year-old woman with previously radiated mastectomy defect on the left and a new diagnosis
of cancer on her right breast that was previously lifted and still has a silicone implant. She had previous liposuctions and has very little body fat.
After: The right breast was regenerated with an immediate grafting at the time of the mastectomy followed
by 1 additional BRAVA + AFT session. At the same time, the left breast had a total of 2 BRAVA + AFT
sessions that reversed the radiation damage and provided a healthy soft tissue envelope for a silicone
implant to complete the reconstruction since we ran out of donor fat.
Bilateral Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 42 year-old woman with bilateral radiated mastectomy defects. She presented 6 years after the
mastectomy with progressively worsening tightness of the chest from a near-circumferential belt-like
radiation fibrosis. She had a large pendulous abdomen and deep radiated scarred chest defects.
After: To regenerate her natural breasts she had 5 BRAVA + AFT outpatient sessions. These completely reversed
the radiation fibrosis and her chest tightness. She now has small breasts and would benefit from another
BRAVA + AFT session that would significantly increase her breast fullness. However, she is delighted
with her new, natural, albeit small breasts. They are soft, warm, bouncy, have sensation and her radiated
chest wall is now supple. Note how the multiple liposuction sessions required to harvest the fat
improved her overhanging abdominal skin without any incisions.
MRI: The MRI photos show that her breasts consist of totally healthy fat. She has a small isolated oil cyst on the right that is of no consequence, and we elected not to needle aspirate it.
Bilateral Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 50 year-old woman with bilateral mastectomies and radiation therapy on left side from treatment of previous lumpectomy.
After: She regenerated her right breast with 2 BRAVA + AFT outpatient sessions while the radiated side required three more sessions. She is very happy with her sensate, soft, natural breasts and her improved body figure. She regenerated her natural breasts without any incision, implant, or flap. We only used needles, syringes and cannulae.
Bilateral Radiated Mastectomy
Before: 35 year-old woman with bilateral mastectomies and radiation therapy to the left mastectomy
defect.
After: She regenerated her right breast with 2 BRAVA + AFT small outpatient sessions while the radiated side
required 2 more sessions. She is happy with her natural new breasts but would consider another session
to get larger and fuller on both sides. Notice how we improved her saddlebags donor site.
