FDA Report On Possible Complications From Breast Implants

saline breast implants

Well, it’s no surprise to us that a new report was  issued last week by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration which details the possible complications of breast implants. Breast implants are not lifetime devices (duh)… according to the FDA, and the longer women have them, the more likely they are to have complications, and the more likely the implants will need to be removed. Which for me personally is a bummer since I didn’t hear of Dr. Khouri in time and have those implants in me.  The FDA says that one in 10 patients will need their implants removed within 10 years if they got a breast augmentation. The risk rises for breast cancer patients who get implants for breast reconstruction with as many as one in two patients needing their implants removed within 10 years.  Oh great.  🙁

But there is good news thanks to Dr. Roger Khouri and his breakthrough reconstruction procedure that is changing the way women reconstruct their breasts after breast cancer or for cosmetic reasons. It requires no major surgery, no new incisions or scars.  I want the world to know about this!!!

WIth Dr. Khouri’s technique, there are no complications from having a foreign object in your body that will likely need to be removed. This is a longterm solution to common breast implant problems. His breakthrough Fat Transfer procedure is a comfort to patients who had breast implants in the past and are now experiencing problems.

The FDA report reconfirms what we already knew: with Dr. Khouri’s fat-transfer technique, the patient will never have to worry about needing a re-operation or removal again because her new breast(s) will be created from her own fat. No foreign objects will be implanted into her body.

And you get lipo…take it from here and put it there.  It’s a beautiful thing.
