We have a breakthrough procedure. We're able to restore your breasts, whether you've lost them to disease or whether you simply want them enhanced, improved, better shape, etcetera. We're able to get very large volumes of fat, harvest it through liposuction (to survive into your breast), in one procedure. We have made the operation dependable. The breast grafting was not a predictable procedure. Now we can make it work. We have the way, the means, to make it work. This is a breakthrough procedure. This will allow us to enlarge your breasts if you want breast enlargement, to improve the shape of your breast, or to restore your breasts if you lost them through cancer or other diseases.

This is really unique; it's something that was not available before. Fat grafts of the breast were not dependable. We can make it dependable. We've developed the technology for that at the Miami Breast Center. The beautiful part here is, it's a two-for-one. You get liposuction (an improvement of the body contour) and you get your breasts enlarged or you get your breasts back. And we can take the fat from anywhere that you don't want it, too. So that improves the entire shape of your body. We use a very gentle liposuction technique, because we're not taking the fat out to throw it away. These are the seeds that we want to survive in the breast. So we harvest them very gently, with a syringe that pulls with a very gentle, low pressure.

And those seeds are precious. And we just re-inject them one seed at a time into the breast, into the prepared breast, to make sure they all survive. What's really different here is that we're able to do micrografts, one little seed at a time, in a very large, prepared, fertilized soil, which is the breast that's been prepared with BRAVA. It's the combination of the meticulous harvesting, meticulous grafting, gentle technique, and a prepared, large field that gives us those beautiful results. We're able to make very large breasts out of very small breasts, naturally, from your own tissue. We're able to reconstruct; restore a breast. I don't even call it reconstruction, because we're restoring a breast here. We're making it grow again without any incision. There's not a single scar. No cutting. No suturing.

For the patient who lives in South Florida, they drive into their surgery, have the procedure, drive back home that evening. We stay in touch. Come back three days post-op for their regular post-operative visits. Most of my patients return back to work the week after surgery. Unless their job is very physical. I've had patients who went back and played tennis within a couple of weeks of their surgery, and even won some matches. It's a minimal procedure. We don't touch the muscle. We don't touch the deep structures. It's just the skin, with a little bit of fat underneath it. And we don't make an incision, so it's really a very quick recovery. Small procedure, with low morbidity, lower chance of complications.
