Roger K. Khouri, MD, FACS gives women the ability to reclaim naturally what cancer has taken away. When you’ve had cancer growing in you, the last thing you want is a foreign object in your body. I have finally reclaimed my life, regained my own self, mentally and physically as a survivor, and without having muscles torn or a foreign object in my body. It’s me going forward. It’s a new opportunity.

After reviewing the options following my left mastectomy, I had pretty much decided against breast reconstruction. However, when I heard about this minimally invasive, outpatient option with low risk of complications, I was willing to give it a try.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the results! I didn't realize the quiet inner joy it would be to be restored and rejuvenated. At 58, I have a better shape than I had as a teenager! Working with Roger K. Khouri, MD, FACS made the whole process a positive adventure
also.

Breast cancer survivor Staria Peterson had a double mastectomy 30 years ago and didn't have reconstruction because she didn't want implants.

I couldn't look at my body. My chest was mutilated. I didn't want my husband to see or touch me. I didn't like how implants look or feel and the risks scared me.

Fast forward, 30 years. Staria heard about Roger K. Khouri's new procedure that could give her back natural breasts and erase her scars without implants.

It was too good to be true but I had nothing to lose. Now 30 years later I have new breasts. You can not tell I wasn't born with these breasts. Now I love looking at my body. So does my husband, she laughs.

A single mastectomy also saved Shannon Smith's life but cost her her marriage.

My husband couldn't deal with it and that shook my confidence. I gave up dating and intimacy after the divorce. You feel slight suction and after awhile not even that. It's the best decision I've made in my life. I'm getting ready to start dating and am confident intimacy will be part of my life again.

I feel that any woman considering reconstruction after cancer surgery should consider fat grafts. The procedure offers a wonderful alternative to implants or complicated surgeries, as well as the opportunity to use your own tissue. For me, it was clearly the best choice.

Please, convey my thanks and admiration to the entire staff. It is difficult to adequately express my gratitude and appreciation to you for giving me back my peace of mind when you successfully reconstructed my left breast after cancer surgery and radiation therapy. Your skills is a light of hope to other women facing breast cancer. Thank you AGAIN. YOUR GRATEFUL PATIENT.
